About

More about Me...
Who am I?
Having spent two decades as an evaluation consultant, including co-leading one of the UK's largest Policy & Evaluation Units, I understand the challenges of leadership, consultancy, evolving personal identity and the ongoing adjustments that are essential for a healthy and happy work-life.

My passion for coaching stems from a long-standing desire to support others to thrive, personal experience of the transformational impact of coaching and having been a change-agent for much of my career. This inspired me to first train and serve as an internal coach, and later offer independent coaching (and mentoring) as part of a diverse portfolio of roles.

My approach to coaching

My coaching philosophy is inspired by the belief that every individual holds the inherent ability for self-discovery and growth. Through the creation of a safe and trusted space, I create an environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and aspirations freely. This approach enables a deep connection that nurtures authentic development.
Recognising the uniqueness of each individual, I work flexibly and where relevant, employ a variety of blended approaches that are tailored to meet client specific needs. This flexibility ensures that the coaching experience is personalised and resonates with the client’s aspirations and context.

Some of my areas of interest

I am passionate about supporting others to reimagine the dynamics of work-life, effectively navigate transitions, and explore the intricate evolution of purpose and identity. Through thought-provoking conversations, I partner with clients to support the reframing of perspectives in these, as well as other areas.

Professional qualifications and memberships

I am an Accredited Senior Practitioner of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and a member of both the EMCC and the International Coaching Federation. I hold a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School (HBS) and am currently pursuing an MSc in Coaching for Behavioural Change at HBS.

Where else do I spend my time?
I currently hold a portfolio of roles, including Executive Coaching & Mentoring, social impact advisory work, and serving as a Non-Executive Director at the Oversight Trust and a Trustee at New Philanthropy Capital.

Podcast
I was previously a guest on the Leaders in Conversation podcast with Anni Townend, where we explored:

-
How understanding and embracing your heritage can enable you to more fully connect with your passion and purpose;
-
How tuning into your strengths and into what comes naturally to you can open up new possibilities for exploring your leadership;
-
The beauty of the ‘reset’, and how discovering and using your ‘reset function’ can help you in re-evaluating and ‘course correcting’ your leadership as you go along.
-
The importance of having a support network who act as ‘thinking partners’ to help you stay ‘on course’.
